In the Extremaduran countryside, close to the Portuguese border, this 10,000-square-metre garden is conceived as a journey. Álvaro Sampedro organised it around raised parterres that lead the visitor through the grounds, with sculptures and fountains appearing along the way. The result is an oasis set within the surrounding landscape, to be discovered step by step.
